questions & answers
Question: I am in the process of a divorce and will be moving back to my home state. As part of the divorce, our house will have to be sold. Do I have to continue living in AZ once the divorce if finalized or can I move back to my home state?
Answer:
Title 25 of the Arizona Revised Statutes (A.R.S.) contains the Marital and Domestic Relations laws. Family law can be very fact specific, in order to find out how the laws apply to your specific situation, you may want to consult with an attorney. For example, situations such as child custody and domestic violence may change notification requirements after divorce if you wish to move.
