Question: I found out when I was in my twenties that the father on my birth certificate is not my biological father. How can I get that corrected?, The man on my birth cert is deceased.

Amendments can be made through the Office of Vital Records for state where the birth took place. If you were born in Arizona, then you may want to review the information located in the Arizona Office of Vital Records website. If the birth certificate was issued in another state, the following the Arizona Office of Vital Records has a list of offices in other states.

You can find information on amendments to birth certificates through the Arizona Office of Vital Records website.  Amendments and corrections to birth certificates are regulated according to the Arizona Revised Statutes (§36-323 & §36-337) and Administrative Codes (Title 9, Chapter 19).

Since so much time has elapsed, a Court Order is required to change the father listed on a birth certificate. This can be a complicated process, so you may want to consult with a Family Law attorney.
