Guardianship of Minor

questions & answers

Question: my sons grandma has gardianship of my son i still have my rights as a mother to legally be able to see him she cant keep him from me can she

Answer:

In Arizona, the Arizona Revised Statutes (A.R.S.) Section 25-408 gives a non-custodial parent the right to reasonable “parenting time,” provided that the court has not determined that seeing that parent would not be in the child’s best interests. However, A.R.S. § 14-5209 gives a guardian the same rights as a custodial parent.

To find out how the law applies to a specific situation, consult with an attorney. See the article on this site,  "Where to Find an Attorney for Specific Legal Advice."
