Parental Rights & Obligations
questions & answers
Question: I have a 2 year old son and his bio-father has never really been in his life. We went through a custody hearing and he was given some visitation but now is wanting to sign his rights over. We have mutually agreed on this. How would we go about doing this? I am married and have a stable house hold.
Answer: For information on the Termination of Parental rights please refer to the Arizona Revised Statues Title 8 Children.Specifically, review Article 2 Termination of Parent-Child Relationship. Since Family Law issues can be very fact specific and are often complicated, you may want to contact an attorney for specific legal advice.
