Answer: Because your boyfriend’s credit card is not financing your car, it would seem that all you have to do is make a name correction to the title of your car. If you visit the Arizona DMV website for title transfers at http://www.dmv.org/az-arizona/title-transfers.php, it will give you directions on how to do so. You must bring a $4 title transfer fee into the DMV office, your vehicle title, as well as a completed Title and Registration Application, which can be found by clicking here. If both of your names are connected by “and,” your boyfriend and you must sign-off on the title.
