Question: i was terminated for insuboration even though i wasnt on company time yet.
Answer: There is no employment law in Arizona that prevents an employee for terminating an employee for insubordination even though the employee is not on company time. Employment in Arizona is "at-will." At-will employment means an employer can terminate an employee for any reason or no reason as long there is no other law prohibiting the employer from terminating an employee for the specific termination reason. For example, an employer cannot discharge an employee because of the employee's race, national origin, color, religion, sex, age over 40, disability, or genetic information. Termination of employment for any of these reasons would violate Federal and Arizona State discrimination laws.
