Question: I will be changing from salary to hourly, my company is taking 40 hours of my PTO to pay me a weeks wage. Can they do that? I earned those PTO hours.
Answer: There is currently no federal or Arizona state law that requires Arizona employers to provide PTO. Also, there is currently no federal or Arizona state law that tells Arizona employers that provide PTO when and how an employer pays PTO.
