Question: After my foreclosed property has been auctioned, how much time do I have to remove personal property?

Answer: If the property has been sold through the foreclosure of a mortgage, a person who retains possession of any real property after he receives written demand of possession may be removed through an action for forcible detainer filed with the clerk of the superior court. A.R.S. 12-1173.01.  The new landlord may file a special detainer five days after written notice. The service of process for this type of special detainer can take a number of days as outlined in A.R.S. 33-1377.
