Question: I recently bought a home, and moved out of a rental property and they sent us an itemized list of items after we moved and I did a final walk through with them and charging us falsely what can we do to dispute these items?
Answer: If contacting your landlord and trying to resolve this outside of the court system has not worked you would have to dispute the security deposit deductions by suing you landlord in small claims court or Arizona’s Justice of the Peace Courts. You can visit your local Justice Court and file a claim against your landlord. Although you do not need a lawyer to represent you in small claims court, you may want to consider consulting with an attorney before filing your claims. http://www.azcourts.gov/AZCourts/JusticeCourts.aspx
