Landlord and Tenant - Mobile Home Parks
questions & answers
Question: My landlord requires that all rv's or travel trailers pay four summer months up front in order to stay the summer. The rest of the year we pay month to month. The permanent large trailers do not have to do this. Is this legal?
Answer: Yes. There is nothing in the mobile home act that would prohibit this. The act does say that "unless otherwise agreed upon" rent is due in equal monthly installments at the first of the month (ARS 33-1413 E) (can be accessed at http://www.azsos.gov/).
