Question: Can my landlord tell me I can not have a certain guest because they don't like him. Saying he was rude to them but was not.

Answer: So long as having a certain guest in your home is neither in breach of your rental agreement nor inconsistent with Arizona law (including the Arizona Residential Landlord and Tenant Act), your landlord generally does not have the right to pick and choose who you may or may not invite over, even if your landlord believes they are rude. The landlord may only object to the presence of a particular guest if and when that guest stays in your home for more consecutive days than the lease permits, or disturbs your neighbors’ “peaceful enjoyment of the premises” (A.R.S. 33-1341), or threatens the landlord (A.R.S. 33-1368), or engages in criminal activity (A.R.S. 33-1368), or things of that sort.
