Answer: A property owner’s liability in any specific situation will always depend on many factors. Under Arizona law, a “social host” is not liable for paying damages to someone who is injured, or to the survivors of someone who is killed, or for damage to property, which is alleged to have resulted from the “social host” providing alcohol to another person, so long as that person is of the legal drinking age (A.R.S. 4-301). What this means is that, under certain circumstances, a property owner who furnishes a minor with alcohol may be held liable.
