Question: I LIVE IN AN APARTMENT SAME UNIT FOR THREE YEARS. ALWAYS I PAY MY RENT ON TIME CAUSE NO TROUBLE TO STAFF OR OTHER RESIDENTS, HARDLY ANY MAINTENANCE REQUIRED IN MY UNIT BECAUSE I RESPECT OTHERS’ PROPERTY. SO, BECAUSE HUD HAS CHOSEN TO TRY AND GET A BUNCH OF PROPERTIES REFINANCED AND SWITCH TO A CONFUSING TAX CREDIT - OR PROJECT-BASED SYSTEM, I AM NOW BEING TOLD THAT I WOULD NOW NEED TO ‘earn’ 3X my current income = 3X $851.00 a month. I am VLI, formerly homeless briefly, compliant with my treatment every day since 2013 etc. I want to be grandfathered in terminable for cause only again.
