Question: I have tenents that live in a 2 beedroom apt thats 900 sq. Feet. They have 3 minor kids living with them now and want their 4th to move in. Is it legal for that many people in a small place?

Answer: The landlord/tenant act does not contain any provision concerning the number of people permitted in a residence. Sometimes rental agreements contain a limitation. There does not appear to be any legal reason barring an additional resident.
