questions & answers
Question: I have filled a small claims against my former landlord for failure to return refundable deposits. The defendant has requested to the court that her property agent be placed as a co-defendant and property agent is willing to accept. Can we have that person removed as defendant when they are not named in Lawsuit?
Answer: Sometimes it can be advantageous to a plaintiff when a court grants a current defendant’s motion to have another defendant joined to the plaintiff’s lawsuit. So you may wish to speak with an attorney to discuss the particulars of your situation.
