Landlord and Tenant Rights and Responsibilities
questions & answers
Question: Do landlords/property managers have the right to prohibit a mother from having a home birth?
Answer: No. However, tenants should always keep in mind that they are required by law to conduct themselves and to ensure that other people on the premises with their permission conduct themselves in a manner that will not disturb their neighbors’ “peaceful enjoyment of the premises” (A.R.S. 33-1341).
