  • My home was sold at a foreclosure auction on 11/22/16. I have never been served a 3 day notice by the new owners just a Summons and Complaint. They want me out of the property and want to charge me an outstanding amount of money and I cannot afford to pay it. They are trying to get a default and judgment against me and I am living in the house with my 8 year old granddaughter. I work 4 days a week and need time to secure another place for us to live. These people are very unreasonable and want me out. I have lived there for 23 years and am having alot of anxiety over this. HELP
  • What is considered "a reasonable amount of time" for repairs? We have had no hot water for 3 days and I sent my landlord the laws and he came back saying that they can turn off the hot water to make repairs & they aren't being "negligent" so we can't take action.

  • My mother, who lives in Wisconsin, has guardianship of her minor grandson. She has been his guardian for about 7 years (since the death of his father in 2007). The minor's biological mother is living, but her whereabouts has been unknown for the same time. My mother is currently receiving financial support from the state for the minor. My mother also has to re-apply each year to continue guardianship. My mother wants to relocate to Arizona with the minor. My question is: 1.can my mother leave the state of Wisconsin with the minor?

I don’t think I should have to pay for a truck I no longer drive . They want the truck or their money ? What should I do?
  • The Landlord/Property Management Co. has with held $858.33 of our security deposit. They say we are responsible for the Re-Rent and Commissions associated with finding a new tenant. My husband lost his job, we continued to pay rent (even though we were not living in the house) so we didn't break lease. They were able to locate a new renter after two months and returned a portion of our Security Deposit, but say we are responsible for these fees. They would have had these fees in June when our lease was up. Is it legal for them to use our deposit for expense associated with the new tenant?
  • Just recently got married ,moved out of my rental because the wife has a lease on an apt until april 2016 the apt we live in has a washroom adjoined to it ,the plumbing has leaked twice into the bathroom and bedroom ruining the carpet and some personal belongings. this has happened twice. I complained directly to the property management and her response is "i am not authorized to notify or request repairs because I am not on the lease" my question is in Arizona can management companies ignore safety and health complaints due to a spouse not being on the lease.
