  • I live in a apt that included utilities for me as well as other temants i sighned a lease but mever got copy i asked several times. And just a week ago we were told verbally we will jave pay utilities our rents 550 a monthand aps wants$ 300 to turn off service on the 10th .i payed my rent andlights getting shut off Can my manager do this i need help

  • My adult probation officer informed me that she was "required by law" to receive a notarized letter from my employer - I asked if there was a standard format letter I could review and she said no. I have no issue verifying employment through typical means but I feel a letter that is arbitrary is a bit unfair. I just want someone to show me the "required by law" part???

Being this is my first offense is there any way around a mandatory minimum prison sentence, and into a treatment instead? I don't feel that 5years flat at the very least would do me any good as opposed to a treatment program.
  • I was evicted from my apartment in 2010 after being admitted to the hospital and never returned for my belongings. Two years later I went back to rectify the money owed to them and clear my credit history. They had no records on me and told me they were under new management. Now it is 2015 and a collection agency is attempting to collect money in arrears due to a broken lease as well as 10% interest for the 5 years since the eviction. I want to dispute these excessive charges but do I need an attorney to help me? Please advise. Thanks.
