Child Support
questions & answers
Question: my ex's employer has not submitted payment to the Support payment clearinghouse, what can i do?
Answer: Please read the article on Child Support in Arizona on this website: http://www.azlawhelp.org/articles_info.cfm?mc=1&sc=2&articleid=53. It states that if a parent owes child support and the parent is employed, the employer must send the payment to the Support Payment Clearinghouse. The employer receives a Wage Assignment, or an order from the court to automatically deduct the parent’s earnings. If the employer does not cooperate or follow the court’s order, the Support Payment Clearinhouse should be contacted: https://www.azdes.gov/dcse/.
