Question: I was brought here as a baby from Mexico. My mom never got my birth certificate. How can I get one.

Answer: Assuming that you are talking about an Arizonan birth certificate, if you are 18 year or older you can request one yourself. To do this you must fill out the application, and mail it to the Office of Vital Records with the application fee and a front and back copy of a valid government issued identification. By visiting the Arizona Department of Health Services website at: http://www.azdhs.gov/vital-records/birth-certificate/you can obtain the printable application, mailing address, and instructions on proper application fee payment.

If you are looking for a Mexican birth certificate, you will follow similar procedures as in the United States. Just like in the US, you need to know what state in Mexico you were born.  Contact that state to request a certificate.
