Parental Rights & Obligations
questions & answers
Question: My ex just moved into a new house and now my son is sharing not only a room but a bed with 2 other "brothers". My question is, are children required to have their own beds?
Answer: There is nothing in the Arizona statutes that makes it mandatory for parents to provide children with their own beds. However, there are many laws in place that prevent parents from placing their children in harm. I suggest you check out Title 8, Ch. 10 of the Arizona Revised Statutes, which can be found here: http://www.azleg.gov/ArizonaRevisedStatutes.asp?Title=8.
