SRCA
questions & answers
Question: Hi, I am being stationed outside of the country and wanted to know what the SCRA covers for phone contracts. The phone is not paid off, am I responsible for the remaining amount?
Answer: SCRA allows deployed service personnel to terminate cell phone contracts. The balance owing on the phone may be a different story. Contact your local JAG office for help and advice. They are extremely familiar with the provisions of SCRA and in the best position to assist you. You may also want to ask this question on the SCRA website.
