Question: My truck that i have drove for two years now was payed for on the spot for $1600 with income tax money from my grandmother and the rest pur of her pocket. Since then, out of my pocket i have put about $3000 into it myself. This income tax money my grandma had was from her claiming me(i was 17, im 19 now). My dad went and gave the man the money for the truck. My dad and i do not get along and he is mental (seriously). Now everytime he gets slightly irritated, he tries to take my truck and we get into it. The title has his name on it, but he is wrongly abusing. I'm so tired of this!Please help me?

Question: Divorced for 5 months...x wife and i agreed to an dollar amount settlement for a 401k account. In the decree we agreed that "wife shall establish and disclose to husband her IRA Roll Over account within 10 days of entry of parties Consent Decree of Dissolution of Marriage". She failed to meet the within 10 day agreement. Does this put her in breach of contract? She plans on filing for enforcement of the decree? What can i do to protect myself? Question: Hello, I came across your ad that states you give advice to vets and families.I am the spouse of a 100% service connected deceased Veteran. My daughter got divorced 9/2013. Her ex in 12/2013 had his support cut in half., leaving her very little support. Now he wants to try to get equal parenting time of their 3 year old daughter, so he no longer has to pay any support. He has shown no interest in the child at all, outside of every other weekend and it is obvious his interest is purely about the money. We are very concerned about this, because my grand daughter is very attached to her.

Question: I had a default divorce awhile back while I was away on active duty. My now ex told the judge that I made $100k/yr on active duty when my income was far less than half that amount of course. Question: I have to do a 50-50 split of net equity; $412000 (appraisal value)-$380214.57 (mortgage)=$31785.43/2=$15892.72 due to ex. I am doing a Refi, but as a veteran I can only borrow up to $417,000 at 90% LTV which then means there is no equity to disburse but I was told that is my problem and I still owe. Now can I deduct broker's commission from equity even though there is no sale? Or is there anything else I can deduct? Because I don't have over $15,000 to buy him out. I did invest over $22000 of my own money for home improvements, does this count for anything? What are my options at this point?

Question: My ex-wife and I were divorced in 2010 and our dissolution documents were very vague concerning my military retirement. It states that "each of the parties shall be awarded, a division of their respective share of military retirement accumulated between the date of marriage and date of separation."
