Question: How do I contact the az legal help people? I filled out an online application but have been ignored. I have a judgement and part of that is for specific performance /forfeiture of my residence back to me after 3 years of no payments. I reside out of state because the bums have taken over the home and I need to gain possession. I was told I need a writ of restitution (whatever that is) and also told I need a lawyer to do this processing with the sheriff dept, and that is why I sought help from AZ law help. I have very low income $531.00 monthly
Answer: When filling out the online form it should have told you what program you were being referred. It should also give you information so that you can check the status of your application. You may contact AZLAWHELP by phone at 866-637-5341. The phones are open from 10 a.m. to 12 noon, and 1 to 3 p.m. Monday thru Friday. A screening will be done with information given to you about how to obtain an attorney. If this was a foreclosure on the home, you may qualify for assistance from the your local legal aid office.
