Landlord and Tenant Rights and Responsibilities
questions & answers
Question: I am getting the run around from my apartment complex about my final move out fees and charges. Every time I speak with them it is a COMPLETELY different story. I am not technically on a lease I haven't signed paperwork there since December 2013. I just moved out in November I just want to know if I am responsible for 30/60 days notice which I've already given but they keep changing their story everyday.
Answer: The landlord/tenant law provision related to security deposits (ARS 33-1321 C)states that within 14 days of the termination of the tenancy and demand by the tenant, the landlord must"provide the tenant an itemized list of all deductions with the amount due and payable to the tenant"
