questions & answers
Question: How long does a tenant have to file a lawsuit against a landlord for disposing of tenants property. My landlord disposed everything I owned for 30 years after I was evicted and forced to leave at a moments notice. 12 days later everything I owned was discarded without any notice to me. Is ther anything I can do.
Answer:
Since statutes of limitations can vary depend on the type of action, you may want to consult with an attorney so that you can discuss the specifics of your situation with an attorney. See the Where to Find an Attorney for Specific Legal Advice article on this site.
