Question: How long can I stay in my home after the eviction judgement if I file a timely Appeal?
Answer: If you wish to remain in the premises pending an appeal you can request and receive a 'stay' if you pay the clerk of the court any rent due and continue to pay accruing rent. See Rule 17 b (2) of the Rules of Procedure for Eviction Actions.
