Question: What is the income limit for a family of three
Answer:
The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) establishes eligibility requirements for the Nutrition Assistance program. Eligibility is based on the household’s resources, income and other requirements such as residence, citizenship or qualified non-citizen status, and cooperation with the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Employment & Training program. Even if a person is unsure whether they qualify, they should still apply.
See this link for more information. Because eligibility is different depending on individual income, the benefits chart here, can help a person calculate eligibility based on their own income. Or, they can use the benefits estimator found here.
