Child Support
questions & answers
Question: My brother owes back child support and has a current warrant because of it. If he pays his child support in full will they still make him serve time or can the warrant be lifted at the time he pays the child support?
Answer:
Child Support Arrest warrants are eliminated at the time that the amount required by the court is paid in full. This can happen before or after the actual arrest occurs. See Arizona Revised Statute 25-683(B).
